Shipping Policy
Checkout to receipt of order timeframe
Fully paid orders (when all products are in stock) will be processed and dispatched within 24 to 48 hours during business hours (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Delivery may take between 2 and 14 days, depending on the shipping option, size of order, time order was placed and your location. We have no control over any delays once it has left our warehouse.
Order delays can occur if:
- Incorrect or incomplete address were entered during checkout.
- Incorrect payment information were entered against the order. Please double check all details at time of checkout as your order will only be created upon receipt of payment.
- Orders not adhering to the Business to Business freight requirement with bulky, volumetric orders requiring forklifts onsite.
- Couriers are affected during holiday and peak periods or extreme weather conditions.
- Some freight services are experiencing delays due to weather events.
- Christmas - New Year closure of our warehouse
Delivery of goods
Physical goods may be delivered by third party “Delivery Services” such as Australia Post, StarTrack, TNT, Couriers Please, Fastways and/or other reputable courier companies. Deliveries are processed promptly upon receipt of full payment. Delivery may take between 2 and 14 days, depending on the delivery option.
Large, volumetric, bulky, oversize and items over 30kg may require delivery to occur on a pallet or skid. These deliveries require a Business to Business freight carrier, and forklift to be on the premises. Please note, unfortunately we cannot consider farms to be Commercial Businesses in this instance. Should you order items that fall into this category, and only have a residential address, items will be delivered to the closest depot for your collection.
Please contact us immediately if you have any concerns about your order so that there are no delays in you receiving it.
Damaged or lost orders should be resolved with the Delivery Service Provider directly and we are not responsible for goods that are damaged in transit or not received. Replacement of damaged or lost items is made at the discretion of Trailer Spares Direct and Direct Source Australia Pty Ltd.
In the event that the item is lost or damaged after you have followed up with the Delivery Service Provider directly, contact us via email orders@trailersparesdirect.com.au outlining what way the products were damaged in transit so we are able to determine if the Delivery Service Provider should be removed from our supplier list.
Shipping addresses
P.O. Boxes
We are unable to deliver goods to PO Box addresses as all delivery orders are sent via courier services.
International Shipping
Unfortunately we are currently unable to provide international shipping through our website, please contact us via email to make arrangements.
Delivery times
We use a variety of courier and freight services with delivery times of between 1 - 5 business days for metro areas and 3 - 10 business days after dispatch for regional areas.
Our carriers deliver between 9am-5pm from Monday to Friday. It is not possible to schedule an exact time or day for delivery when you place your order.
Shipping cost
Your shipping cost will depend on the size and weight of the products you purchase as well as your delivery location. Generally the larger the item, the more expensive shipping will be. Heavy, odd shaped and large goods, skids and pallets (i.e. items requiring a two man lift or tail gate lift, oversize and manual handling) will also incur higher shipping rates.
Our courier companies’ delivery policies or zone restrictions may apply to selected areas.

*Offer excludes bulky, oversize and over-length items. Springs incur a manual handling fee. High volume orders, such as trailer builds may volume out.
Orders under $100 - Flat fee of $20 shipping
Oversize items include, but not limited to, Axles, Light-boards, Mudguards and Suspension beams and any other items over 1 metre in length and large volume orders.
Bulky items include assembled rims & tyres, winch posts and those with either a high weight or large cubic volume as classified by our courier companies.
Due to their weight, size or length these items incur additional freight cost which is calculated at checkout based on the item/s you are purchasing and your location.
Springs incur a manual handling fee, due to the nature of the item it cannot be packed with other goods efficiently.
To qualify, your order must be greater than $100 after any sale discounts or coupons are applied. The order value is not inclusive of any quoted freight.
This shipping offer may be withdrawn or altered at anytime. Online orders must meet the above criteria in full to qualify for free shipping.
Large and oversize items
At checkout, you will be notified of shipping costs for your approval. Unless there are special shipping deals in place, these are calculated automatically by the site in accordance with our courier companies' freight charges. Bulky items have either a heavy weight or large cubic volume. Products are allocated as bulky as determined by the shipping methods of our courier companies.
Oversize items are due to their length and can include, but not limited to, axles, lightboards, mudguards and suspension beams. These will incur a surcharge by the freight company.
If you have a concern about the rate provided for bulky item shipments please contact us via phone or email. We will generally respond to your query within 24 hours.
Unattended address and Re-delivery fees
We use couriers to deliver and they will not be delivered to an unattended address. The courier will require a signature from an occupant at the specified delivery address at the time of delivery. If no one is available to sign for the delivery, a card will be left and the parcel re-directed to the nearest Courier depot. You will then be responsible for collecting the parcel from that depot or paying an additional charge for re-delivery. We recommend all deliveries be shipped to a location that is attended during business hours, whether that is a home, work or other address, to minimise any re-delivery delays and/or fees.
Order online - Pick-up in store (click collect)
Currently we are not providing an order online and pick-up in store as an option, instead we are pleased to offer you our Free and Flat Rate Freight Specials Australia-wide.
Tracking shipments
All orders placed online at trailersparesdirect.com.au are delivered via courier unless pick-up in store is selected. Once your order has been booked for courier pick-up you will be sent a confirmation email with consignment number and link to track your order directly through the courier’s website.
Please allow up to 24 hours for your parcel to register in the couriers system before attempting to track your order. If you have any concerns contact us by phone or email. We will generally respond to online enquiries within 24 hours.
You can contact your carrier directly and quote the tracking number to receive more detailed information about the delivery process. The courier's contact number will be provided in your dispatch confirmation email.
