Choosing trailer master cylinders and actuator parts

Whether you are swapping out a leaky reservoir, replacing a worn-out cap, or upgrading your entire trailer hydraulic master cylinder, our team has you covered with parts built for the highway and the boat ramp. Match the bore size and fitting style to the coupling already fitted to the trailer before ordering.

Master cylinders are part of the hydraulic brake system, so they need to suit the coupling, brake lines, calipers or drum brakes on the trailer. If the trailer uses electric-over-hydraulic boat trailer brakes,, confirm the actuator and hydraulic circuit requirements before changing master cylinder parts.

Before you order

Check the current cylinder size, mounting pattern, pushrod arrangement, reservoir condition and brake fluid compatibility. A trailer brake wheel cylinder rebuild kit or hydraulic brake kit for trailer repairs may not solve a worn or mismatched master cylinder.
