Shipping & Pick-up
Christmas delivery times
- Our warehouse will be closed over Christmas period from 21 December to 2 January.
- Orders received after Thursday 20 December will not be fulfilled and dispatched until Wednesday 2 January 2019.
Checkout to receipt of order timeframe
Fully paid orders (when all products are in stock) will be processed and dispatched within 24 to 48 hours during business hours (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Delivery may take between 2 and 14 days, depending on the shipping option, size of order and your location.
Order delays can occur if:
- Incorrect or incomplete address were entered during checkout.
- Incorrect payment information were entered against the order. Please double check all details at time of checkout as your order will only be created upon receipt of payment.
- Couriers are affected during holiday and peak periods or extreme weather conditions.
We are unable to deliver goods to PO Box addresses as all delivery orders are sent via courier services.
Unfortunately we are currently unable to provide international shipping through our website, please contact us via email to make arrangements.
We use a variety of courier services with delivery times of between 2 - 5 business days for metro areas and 3 - 10 business days after dispatch for regional areas.
Our carriers deliver between 9am-5pm from Monday to Friday. It is not possible to schedule an exact time or day for delivery when you place your order.
Your shipping cost will depend on the size and weight of the products you purchase as well as your delivery location. Generally the larger the item, the more expensive shipping will be. Extremely large goods, skids and pallets (i.e. items requiring a two man lift or tail gate lift) will also incur higher shipping rates.
Our courier companies’ delivery policies or zone restrictions may apply to selected areas.
Large and bulky items
At checkout, you will be notified of shipping costs for your approval, these are calculated automatically by the site in accordance with our courier companies' freight charges via a courier broker application (SmartSend). Bulky items have either a heavy weight or large cubic volume. Products are allocated as bulky as determined by the shipping methods of our courier companies.
If you have a concern about the rate provided for bulky item shipments please contact us via phone or email. We will generally respond to your query within 24 hours.
Unattended address and Re-delivery fees
We use couriers to deliver and they will not be delivered to an unattended address. The courier will require a signature from an occupant at the specified delivery address at the time of delivery. If no one is available to sign for the delivery, a card will be left and the parcel re-directed to the nearest Courier depot. You will then be responsible for collecting the parcel from that depot or paying an additional charge for re-delivery. We recommend all deliveries be shipped to a location that is attended during business hours, whether that is a home, work or other address, to minimise any re-delivery delays and/or fees.
Pick-up in store
You may purchase online and pick up your order from our Lawnton store during business hours (subject to stock availability). Simply add your items to the shopping cart and select ‘Pickup at Lawnton store’. The shopping cart will check for available stock and show on screen ‘All Products Available’.
Please allow 24 hours for your items to be picked and available for collection.

Order confirmation must be provided to our team on pick-up of goods. We will have your items packed and ready to go. Please note that we will hold your order for a period of 14 days. If, on the 15th day your order has not been collected and there has been no communication from you, your order will be cancelled and we will contact you to instigate a refund.
Our store is located at 4 Leanne Crescent, Lawnton Qld 4501 and is open from Monday to Friday 8 am to 5pm and Saturday from 8:30am to 12pm.
All orders placed online at trailersparesdirect.com.au are delivered via courier unless pick-up in store is selected. Once your order has been booked for courier pick-up you will be sent a confirmation email with consignment number and link to track your order directly through the courier’s website.
Please allow up to 24 hours for your parcel to register in the couriers system before attempting to track your order. If you have any concerns contact us by phone or email. We will generally respond to online enquiries within 24 hours.
You can contact your carrier directly and quote the tracking number to receive more detailed information about the delivery process. The courier's contact number will be provided in your dispatch confirmation email.
Damaged or lost orders should be resolved with the courier company directly and we are not responsible for goods that are damaged in transit or not received. Replacement of damaged or lost items is made at the discretion of Trailer Spares Direct and Direct Source Australia Pty Ltd.
